On July 20, 2021, it was time again for a thoroughly professional team-building exercise in the UI/UX team ...
We started hungry at Café Moritz in Münsingen and enjoyed an "egg in a pan" and a selection of coffees and teas. After we had finished our sumptuous brunch followed by a more or less extensive sightseeing tour of Münsingen, we moved on to item number 2 on the agenda: an adventurous canoe trip on the Lauter.
After arriving at the "Bootshaus an der Lauter" in Bichishausen, we set off on an entertaining 20-minute hike through the Lauter valley to our starting point for the canoe tour. After a short briefing and a photo shoot with paddles later, we were already sitting in our three canoes and set off down the winding Lauter, which was full of rapids, for just under an hour. It would be a lie to say that not a single one of us got wet ... even if not because of the Lauter.
After successfully returning to the "Bootshaus" and daringly draping our wet clothes on the hood, we ended the day happily and relaxed in the beer garden with selected salads, tarte flambée, various (anti)-alcoholic drinks and excellent desserts. Shortly before the journey home, we decided to take an exciting digestive walk and ventured up to the ruins of Bichishausen Castle - the reward was a wonderful view over the Lauter valley and the crowning glory of a magnificent day.
