We realize complex functions in product development by intelligent and as simple as possible components and structures. We also ensure early verification by producing & testing functional models and prototypes. The product can only be truly successful later on if the design engineers consider not only the purely technical solution but also the aspects of ergonomics, operation and product design as early as the development process.
Design concepts are only as good as their constructive implementation. That's why, for many of our customers, we supply not only the design but also native exterior and design surfaces through to tool-ready data - all in direct dialog between product designers, design engineers and the series production partners. We work with a wide variety of materials and manufacturing techniques, from plastics to sheet metal structures to fiber composite components.
Due to our experience from a multitude of projects with different customers we can act as pacemaker, moderator and project manager and serve internal development departments as well as the later manufacturing partners as a solution-oriented sparring partner. In value engineering, the focus is on optimizing concepts and existing products with regard to their manufacturing costs, e.g. through alternative manufacturing processes, materials or adaptation designs. In component optimization, acute problems from the market or manufacturing are addressed and rectified. Here, "thinking outside the box" and a sharpened eye for the most effective approaches is an important approach to finding simple or higher quality solutions.
Validation and verification at the right time in the development process are success factors of any project. Here the focus is not only on the pure testing but also on the corresponding comprehensible documentation, which is required more or less extensively depending on the certification / approval of the product. Together with our customers, external auditors and specialists, we can develop FMEA and DFM analyses, create operating instructions and support the approval process.
Biotech Artelis commissioned BUSSE with the development of an innovative plant for the production of vaccines. After the construction of the machine housing and incubator, a fully functional prototype could be built.
