With the Ibex G4, Lukas Schrottenbaum, Managing Director of TerraTec Maschinenbau, presents the latest masterpiece from his own company. The Ibex G4 is the first single-axle implement carrier in the 40 hp power range. In close cooperation between the TerraTec and BUSSE development teams, the cladding was created in line with the Ibex family design and taking into account the new product requirements.
"With the Ibex G4, we are now opening up a completely new performance range in the field of single-axle implement carriers. The G4 is more than just a motor mower, it is a multifunctional implement carrier. It enables professional users, such as contractors or local authorities, to carry out demanding work, such as mulching, with a single-axle machine that is suitable for steep slopes and is gentle on the soil," says Lukas Schrottenbaum.
Users in agriculture, contractors and municipal operations often have very demanding conditions in difficult terrain. Conventional motor mowers have performance deficits here and conventional mulching caterpillars are often too cumbersome. With the Ibex G4, TerraTec can now offer an implement carrier which, with 40 HP, has sufficient power for mulching operations, allows any other application and offers the best grip in any terrain. The G4 promises top performance for every job and on every slope. It boasts many technical highlights.
As with its predecessor, the Ibex G2, the characteristic and brand-defining signet that makes the IBEX family so unique has once again been brought into focus on the G4 - and the G4 proudly displays its horns accordingly. The powerful appearance of the G4 quickly makes it clear that it does not take long to deal with obstacles standing in its way. This resolute effect of the Ibex G4 is supported by the clear, uncompromising and robust design of the other add-on parts.
Despite great time pressure, the CAD surfaces were created by BUSSE Design+Engineering in close coordination with TerraTec and used to create thermoforming tools. The topic of heat management played a particularly important role here.
