TERRATEC - New IBEX G2

As part of the opening of the new company building, the IBEX G2 was also presented to the public.

IBEX means "ibex" in Latin and English, an animal that is at home in the Alps. Strength, resilience and adaptability even in the steepest mountainous terrain are its characteristics. The new IBEX-G2 motor mower stands for precisely these characteristics. Thanks to the new ergonomic multifunction handle (patented), the machine can be operated completely steplessly and sensitively with just one hand. All operating elements such as thumbwheel, pushbutton, reverse button and dead man's switch rotate on the handle shaft, are therefore always within reach and can be reached "blind". This allows the operator to concentrate on the work area.

We successfully supported Terratec Maschinenbau GmbH in the design development for the new product generation, with the aim of creating a significant brand identity. With the "playful" approach of incorporating the horn of the ibex into the product design as well, this was successfully achieved.

The front cover has been designed to resemble the horns of the ibex, creating a characteristic, brand-defining signet that makes the IBEX G2 unique. The other cover parts have been slimmed down in terms of formal aesthetics and support the "agile" effect of the mower.
