We bring technology to life – with our 1:1 trade fair model of a gear unit!

The team at BUSSE Design+Engineering was able to successfully support RENK in the planning and production of their full-scale (1:1) gearbox model for use at trade fairs worldwide.

In a continuously agile concept phase, ideas for the trade fair model, its design and technical structures were developed in close cooperation with RENK, taking into account the visual packages and parameters. After the concept and design phase, the team seamlessly moved on to the detailed design and creation of production-ready data, followed by the subsequent model construction of the exhibit.

With an impressive size of 1540 x 765 x 825 mm, the model is not only a visual and technical highlight, but also a real crowd puller. Every detail, from cables and connections to screw connections, was implemented with the utmost precision to create a realistic and robust exhibit that can impress at international trade fairs in continuous use. The base with high-quality Corian cladding ensures an elegant appearance, while the removable side panels allow for easy handling and transport by pallet truck. For safe transport, we also manufactured a customised, air freight-compatible transport crate, ready for worldwide use.
