More power on the construction site with the new cut-off machines from STIHL

The new TS 910i and TS 710i cut-off machines are the most powerful cut-off machines in the STIHL range. In close cooperation with our customer STIHL, we developed the product design of the gasoline-powered tools, taking into account the overall design strategy, the corporate design and the color brand.

TS 910i & TS 710i

The new STIHL TS 710i and TS 910i with electronic fuel injection are the most powerful cut-off saws in the STIHL range. The electronically controlled fuel injection ensures perfect running characteristics and high torque.

The design also differs significantly from the previous models. The new hood shape - without the black section familiar from its predecessors - gives the power cutter a more compact, powerful and modern appearance. The striking design language supports the machine's power and allows the hood to optimally enclose the technical components without creating unnecessary volume.

A key aspect in optimizing handling is the lowering of the entire machine. This brings the cutting wheel closer to the object to be cut, which is supported by the design with an adapted edge profile. This and the reduced machine length make it much easier for the user to plunge into the material to be cut.

A particular challenge in the design was the integration of the large ventilation openings required for the type of machine. The dynamically sloping ventilation openings characterize the appearance of the cut-off machine and convey the sheer power of the professional high-performance device.
