Review of the year 2021

Company

As 2021 draws to a close, it will close as the year of the WE spirit for many. For the BUSSE team, friends and family, the WE is reflected in many aspects.

We started January 2021 with a very good level of capacity utilization after a reasonably good "Corona year" in 2020. In February, we had to announce the death of Prof. Rido Busse, our company founder. - A great networker and philanthropist has passed away. One of his guiding principles is lived out every day in our projects: to meet the highest standards in order to help shape the product and working world of tomorrow and beyond in a spirit of partnership.

In May and June, our team was vaccinated by the company doctor (Dr. Schlaupitz) and boostered in December. The implementation of our hygiene and safety plan has become a matter of course. Regular rapid tests are standard.

We have purchased a filament printer so that we can implement rapid prototypes even faster. In July 2021, we expanded our production storage space with a 450 m² hall on our company premises. This created space for another large 5-axis milling machine. In addition, the workshop team has grown by 2 heads.

We are further expanding our climate neutrality by commissioning a photovoltaic system and wallboxes for guests and employees.

October was our month of horror: a fire in a CNC milling machine in the workshop caused by a rodent was quickly contained and worse was prevented thanks to the alarm system, our operational rescue chain and the prudent actions of the fire department.

We also want to express our thanks in 2021 through our social commitment. - Our donations went to: the Unterelchingen fire department, Aktion Deutschland Hilft and the Neu-Ulm - Helfen mit Herz foundation.

In 2022, 62 BUSSE team members are looking forward to continuing challenging, exciting and active projects.

We wish all our friends, employees, partners and families a Merry Christmas, a healthy and fulfilling 2022 and look forward to helping shape the product and working world of the day after tomorrow on your behalf again from 10.01.2022.
