We have also recently started using laser welding and the products of our customer MaxPhotonics in our own production facilities.

With the support of AK Industry, we naturally installed the appropriate safety equipment in advance and trained our staff so that we can now use the process alongside our conventional welding techniques in our first projects and gain initial experience.

Advantages of manual laser welding:

High precision: The laser beam can be focused very precisely, resulting in fine and clean weld seams.
Low heat input: As the laser beam is only focused on a small area of the material, heat input is minimized. This reduces the risk of deformation and stresses in the material.
Versatility: Handheld laser welding can be used for a variety of materials, including high-strength steels, aluminum and even plastics.
Thin materials: It is particularly suitable for welding thin materials that are difficult to process using conventional welding methods.
Automation potential: Although it can be performed manually, the process can also be easily automated, which can increase efficiency in production.
Less post-processing: The clean weld seams often require less post-processing, which saves time and money.
Environmentally friendly: Compared to other welding processes, hand laser welding produces less smoke and pollutants, making it more environmentally friendly.
