DOW - Design and construction of technology demonstrators

Especially in the field of rechargeable batteries and battery units for electric vehicles, the silicone and polyurethane-based materials offer numerous properties that contribute to safety and performance, such as insulation, thermal management and fire protection.

For the European Battery Show 2022 in Stuttgart, the individual application possibilities and material properties were impressively presented in a technology demonstrator in the form of an electric car battery cell in twelve different transparent boxes.

In addition to the dimensions of 1.8 x 1.3 meters, the large number of individual components, the integration of the original DOW materials and the installation of light effects and heat-reactive films were an exciting task that BUSSE Design+Engineering was happy to take on.

The model attracted everyone's attention at the trade fair and helped the DOW team to impress trade fair visitors with their product portfolio in a vivid way.
