Fast, intuitive and at the same time extremely accurate scanning are the strengths of the new hand-held 3D laser scanner T-Scan CS. Together with the tracking camera and touch probe, the scanner forms a completely redesigned modular system that adapts perfectly to numerous applications.
User-friendliness was BUSSE's top priority when designing the lightweight and compact housing. With its optimally arranged center of gravity, the scanner is always well balanced in the hand, even when measurements have to be taken in hard-to-reach places.
The lightness is reflected in the design. BUSSE has opted for a sandwich construction with a light metal frame and dark side panels that cleverly conceal the width of the scanner and give the impression of a high-quality precision device. In addition, a tray was designed to protect the sensitive sensors.
Combined with the device's novel technology, the intuitive and fatigue-free operation increases scanning speed and accuracy in ways never before possible.
As a further component of the CS measuring system, BUSSE designed the T-Track CS optical 3D tracker, which records the position of the hand-held scanner in space. Its linear exterior with typical observer optics corresponds to its function.
