User-centred development - BUSSE is an auditor at UIG e.V.

Company

This year, we became a member of UIG e.V. (Usability in Germany), which is committed to the integration of user-centred development in organisations. The "User-centred development" seal was created specifically for this purpose. The seal is intended to help medium-sized companies to obtain visible proof of the successful establishment of a user-centred development process. And we at BUSSE Design+Engineering are an auditor for this seal and enable our customers and interested parties to obtain proof of intuitively operable products.

Why this seal?

The "User-centred developed" seal helps to make expertise in user-centred development processes visible.

Many medium-sized companies have already recognised how crucial user-centricity is for the usability and user experience of their digital offerings - and are successfully using this insight to set themselves apart from the competition.

The seal offers an opportunity to communicate this strength directly to customers and/or end users. It clearly shows that the needs and expectations of users are taken seriously and placed at the centre of development processes. This not only improves the user experience of digital products, but also increases the company's success - through more efficient and effective use of products by customers and increased customer satisfaction and loyalty.

If you also intend to set a clear signal for the quality of your products, then differentiate yourself from the competition:Visit the UIG website

About the UIG e.V.:

UIG e.V. supports companies in successfully integrating user-centricity into an organisation and implementing user-centric digital systems, products and services. This is accompanied by the provision of knowledge, services and access to a large network.

The UIG sees itself specifically as a bridge between companies on the one hand and UX professionals on the other. With their knowledge, services and network, they focus on supporting companies and helping them to design digital products and services that inspire their users. The term user-centricity is more specific in its wording than the term human-centricity - but in terms of content, it also encompasses all aspects that human-centricity implies: Aspects of sustainability, accessibility and inclusion as well as ethical issues. The understanding of user-centredness is therefore a very broad one: taking responsibility for the environment and society with one's own actions. From a broader perspective, user-centred design helps to make digital products and services accessible and inclusive, which in turn promotes social participation.

Strengthening user-centricity in companies is the core of their mission. Through this focus, they not only contribute to user-friendly products, but also contribute to a digital world that is accessible to all. User-centricity is not just a practice - it is a commitment to creating a better digital future for all.
