Next construction phase at BUSSE Design+Engineering GmbH completed: Renovation of the company entrance, the loading zone and the front parking area.
After we built our new warehouse in 2021, renovated the outdoor area and parking spaces at the rear, equipped the hall with a PV system and installed the first 6 charging points for electric vehicles, the next construction phase was completed in June.
The company access road, the loading area including the road surface and the front parking spaces were also completely renewed. In the course of this, over 600 m² of new asphalt was laid and approx. 300 m² of parking area was renewed. In order to sustainably reduce surface compaction, the parking area was paved with open-pored stones and no longer asphalted.
In addition, the entire surface drainage system was redesigned, new drainage shafts were installed and the hall gates were fitted with appropriate drainage channels. In particular, the previously heavily worn loading zone is now level again and enables optimum loading and unloading with our forklift truck.
As part of the electrification of our vehicle fleet, additional charging points have been prepared, as the existing wall boxes are also well used by employees. This will enable us to further reduce our carbon footprint together.
The next step is now to implement the planting in the rear area: the employees have designed a vegetable and fruit garden here, which is now being tackled in concrete terms.
