This week, our first aiders took part in a refresher course to learn new skills and deepen their existing knowledge.
What materials does the vehicle first aid kit contain and what contents should be assigned to the company first aid kit? The relevant contents were presented and practiced during the course. For example, an accident situation was simulated and the participants had the task of providing first aid together. They had to use various materials from the company first aid kit.
The participants' knowledge was then tested and challenged in the form of a question-and-answer quiz with points. Here, too, the focus was on practical implementation, as the questions were based on realistic situations.
They also practiced rescuing a person from a car, removing a helmet, the recovery position and performing resuscitation.
In order to put what they had learned into practice, they devised various accident situations themselves and then acted them out in scenes. This allowed our first aiders to deepen their knowledge and skills and train for emergencies.
