UX 720°

What does UX 720° mean?

Our UX720° method combines hardware and software perspectives for a holistic UX design. We look at products both from the user-oriented perspective of UI/UX designers and from the functional perspective of industrial designers or engineers. This dual approach results in ergonomic, intuitive and brand-defining products that are not only well thought-out and easy to use, but also offer a positive user experience. Usability, optimum operability and process reliability take center stage.

The BUSSE method for successful usability

  • When looking at the “user interface”, focus only on the graphical representation of the software

  • Physical elements and screen content do not form a unit and lead to impractical, non-intuitive, complicated operation

  • No coherent picture

By taking a holistic view of all relevant touch points, all elements are categorized according to their functions: Manipulation, display and support. This is the only way to ensure that the best possible user interface elements are selected to meet all the requirements of production, the device environment and user ergonomics.

What can we do for you?

Thanks to our in-house workshop and interdisciplinary collaboration with construction, industrial design and UI/UX specialists, we are able to build prototypes in-house during the product development process, which, for example, can be turned into tangible products from 3D-printed housing parts, a purchased display and overprinted operating parts via Arduino or Arcade Controller and the connection to Figma or Axure. This allows usability tests to be carried out at an early stage with real users who can hold simulated hardware including the operating concept in their hands.

We have built up a material archive with various operating and display elements specifically for this purpose:

  • Microcontrollers such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi

For complex prototypes, for example with connected sensors, actuators and modules Programmable to respond to inputs and provide outputs

  • Zero Delay Encoder / Arcade Encoder

For simpler prototypes with simple push buttons, no programming required

  • Electronic components

Push buttons, joysticks, LEDs, sensors, display and touch displays, etc.

  • 3D printers

For housing prototypes and individual buttons or other elements
