BAUSCH + LOMB - Eye surgery with the TENEO 317 LASER
Bausch + Lomb I Technolas wanted the TENEO 317 LASER to be more compact and smarter after the fundamental revision by BUSSE. Doctors and patients benefit from the optimized ergonomics and more compact design of the sophisticated device for eye surgery.
Highest precision and perfection are what matters in eye surgery! In addition, clinics, physicians and patients place high demands on the quality and appearance of the equipment and practice furnishings. After all, laser operations on the eye are mainly performed in private practices and financed by self-payers.
Even at first glance, the new TENEO 317 appears more compact. In fact, it requires a much smaller footprint, so it can be easily integrated into almost any practice. During transport, the laser unit can be put on and securely locked in place with an ingenious mechanism. At the same time, BUSSE has ergonomically optimized the laser arm so that the operating physician gains more freedom of movement and a significantly larger field of vision. The curved two-tone arm cleverly conceals the darkly colored optical and laser components. With its rounded corners and likewise two-tone design, the main body of the TENEO 317 looks more like an architectural element; the white bezel facing the patient also contributes to the pleasant atmosphere, which contrasts pleasantly with the cold ambience of an operating room.
With the new TENEO 317, Bausch + Lomb I Technolas strengthens its position as one of the world's leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical, vision care and surgical products for the eye. Following an initial facelift of the products for Technolas Perfect Vision in 2009, BUSSE has now ushered in a new product era in the design, operation and safety of the devices for eye surgery with the revision of the TENEO 317. Together with the new generation of eye trackers for measuring eye movements, Bausch + Lomb I Technolas is expanding its product offering for advanced refractive procedures that correct the refractive power of the eye and thus improve patients' vision.
Founded in 1853, the company is headquartered in Rochester, New York State, and employs more than 11,000 people worldwide, with products available in more than 100 countries. In 2013, Bausch + Lomb acquired Technolas Perfect Vision GmbH in Munich, Germany, bringing together two of the strongest brands in ophthalmology.
