Precise measurements for reliable data, easy handling and robust design - these are the strengths of BUSSE devices such as the Ulmer Stadiometer for measuring the height of persons in children, adolescents and adults. As early as the 1980s, BUSSE developed this device together with Prof. Heinze from the University Hospital in Ulm. In the meantime, a number of different devices have emerged from this, which have been repeatedly improved or supplemented over the years.

BUSSE recently received positive feedback from a particularly discerning audience at the joint annual conference of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Pädiatrische Diabetologie (AGPD) e.V. and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Kinder-Endokrinologie und -diabetologie (DGKED) in Leipzig, where the company presented the 2015 innovations in its own stadiometer product line at an exhibition stand. The BUSSE team used this opportunity for in-depth discussions with users such as professors, specialists, nurses and medical assistants.

For example, the length measuring device will in future also be available with integrated baby scales, so that only one measuring station for babies is required. The new generation of the Ulm stadiometer is supplemented by a heel stop and a seat height measuring chair that can be switched on. The latest product in the BUSSE range of devices is an arm span measuring device that also provides important data for observing and treating growth development in children.

The length measuring device with baby scale is expected to be available in summer 2015, all other products in the new device series are expected to be available from March 2015. In principle, all devices now bear the GS test seal.
