The UI/UX design team also enjoyed another day of team-building activities this year...
Almost a tradition: an appropriate start to the day with a breakfast together. This year, we enjoyed an unusual breakfast menu at BellaVista above the rooftops of Ulm.
After we had finished our sumptuous brunch, we moved on to item number 2 on the agenda: a visit to the HfG Archive Ulm on the Kuhberg to see the current exhibition "Otl Aicher - 100 Years of 100 Posters". A very interesting and exciting excursion in the footsteps of the co-founder of the legendary Ulm School of Design, who was also one of the leading designers in the second half of the 20th century. Otl Aicher designed posters for the Ulm Adult Education Center and for the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich, among others.
We then set off in the direction of Laupheim to the "MobiPark" climbing and adventure park on Lake Obersulmetingen. While climbing was less popular as an activity in the extremely summery temperatures, an hour of SUP (stand-up paddling) on the lake was far more appealing.
After a somewhat more elaborate sunshade set-up activity, we were able to relax by the lake with cool drinks, great conversations, a good atmosphere and a bit of Viking chess.
Our team outing came to a wonderful end in the "MobiPark" beer garden with delicious, oven-fresh tarte flambée.
