Our team of technical engineers is experienced in all steps of product development as well as in many types of manufacturing methods. They also have an eye for industrial design and interface design to also fulfill the customers expectations in regard to aesthetics and usability. Due to our internal prototyping facilities we can directly test, validate and optimize the different development results.

Since during a product development, especially during a challenging concept ideation, work contents, budgets and timing always need to be adjusted and alligned, we always develop projects step by step.We work as a service partner and are capable of defining service and work contracts plus can also bring in service on demand or in call-off orders based on frame contracts. We do NOT offer a supply of temporary workers.
In a close dialogue with your internal specialists and in respect to the initially defined project goal and the existing products and competitors, we gather the requirements and development tasks and develop creative ideas and solutions for the different tasks and functionalities. These first concept ideas form the foundation for the later development process. Goal of the first conceptual design phase is to reflect and proove the general concept feasibility.

Based on a detailed system specification and the first ideas of conceptual phase these different single concepts for each task and functionality are combined together into a holistic product concept and are finetuned in regard to potential manufacturing methods.Findings made from different prototypes and tests will be integrated into the overall concept. Additionally we can generate simulations (like FEA) and further analysis (e.g. tolerance studies).
This project steps ends with cad data which serves as a basis for first supplier requests, detaillied supplier dialogue in regard to design for manufacturing and the build-up of prototypes. The intitial system specifications then need to be transformed into detailled and final requirement specifications.
In close dialogue with the selected manufacturing partners and toolmakers the engineering data will be optimized and handed over to start toolmaking and production.This project steps end with serial start and market entry. If needed, we can also assist in creating documents like manuals and test specifications.
For the Belgian biotech-company Artelis the team of BUSSE developed an innovative plant for the production of vaccines. BUSSE delivered full service from the engineering of the machine housing and structure, the development of the incubator itself, the selection of all technical components and also executed the build-up of a first fully functional prototype.

For product development we use the cad-software „PTC Creo - Pro/Engineer", „SolidWorks" and „Inventor" and can offer the common exchange file formats like IGES, STEP etc. for all other software types.Due to our longerm experience we are capable to build-up and detail complex freeform suface completely parametrically.
For some of our clients we directly work according to their internal cad guidelines, use their terminologies for file and part names and use their start-files and standard-part libraries. Sometimes we are even directly connected to their PDM systems.
For a lot of our clients we develop complex parts and assemblies made of metal, non matter if simple sheet metal parts, die-casted or progressive-die parts, frame supported units or complex welding components. Smart manufacturing methods like roler-burnishing, hydroforming and joining technologies like toxing and clinching often provide valuable advantages. Of course we also feel at home with methods like die-casting, extrusion and milled manufacturing.
Next to established hard steel tools alternatives like the usage of principal tools, soft tooling and rapid manufacturing offer interesting advantages in terms of time-to-market and invest. Also our daily business includes complex 2k overmolding parts and technical materials like PEEK and materials with forming agents like EPP/PUR or rotational parts.
In a close dialogue with the tool makers we try to define smart strategies how to draft and split the tools and parts and how to start „metal safe" to safe optimization loops in the tools after first sampeling.
