Together with BUSSE, Mamo Pet Sports has developed a revolutionary 360° harness system for sports-minded dog owners. It gives dogs and their owners a whole new level of freedom when running, jogging or hiking in the great outdoors and reduces the risk of injury on both sides.

Every dog lover knows the situation. Your beloved furry friend needs regular exercise. Depending on the breed of dog, this can be either leisurely or quite sporty. The urge to move or an interesting discovery sometimes leads to a rather chaotic pattern of movement around the dog owner. This can sometimes lead to a high level of stress or exertion for the owner. Last but not least, it can lead to the dog and / or owner getting tangled up in the lead, falling and injuring themselves.

The new product from Mamo Pet Sport for sporty dog owners addresses precisely this problem. The aim was to ensure a smooth, all-round leash guide, coupled with high wearing comfort and maximum flexibility in the adjustment options, without restricting freedom during activities such as jogging, hiking, ... ... The unlimited 360° all-round leash guidance is an innovative unique selling point of the product.

The technical development of the product presented one or two challenges, as some requirements sometimes interfered with each other. A solution had to be found between the smooth gliding of the line and the maximum adjustment options for the customer, coupled with a small number of product variants. The latter goes hand in hand with correspondingly higher development and production costs due to lower quantities. Some theoretical concepts were not convincing in practice. However, this hurdle was successfully overcome by means of constant further development and validation using functional samples. The choice of materials was a decisive factor in this process. In collaboration with the customer, a university and other experts, it was possible to solve these technical problems and enable another start-up to successfully enter the market.
